Hi City of Cape Town Are there any plans to pedestrianise parts of the CBD this summer? Safe space for social distancing, non-motorised transport, outdoor dining could all be achieved on streets like Long Street Association & BreeStreetLife for example.

5 years difference between these photos at the same section at Contermanskloof. Different bikes, different wheelsize, different barwidth, same concentration levels! #spotthedifference #samebutdifferent 📸 Ewald Sadie instagram.com/p/CEyLHzfHhU8/…

Top tip: When the world finally gets back to normal, book your next visit to cape Town in late March/April. Our Autumns are mind-blowingly good for riding bikes. The winds drop, the temperatures are perfect for active holidays (23-27degrees) and the sunsets are next level.

Great news that the ban of cycling on the promenade is scrapped. Think we should still chat about removing 1 out of the 6 lanes for cars on beach road Geordin Hill-Lewis :D Safely connecting the foreshore to Bakoven by bicycle.
