Thank you Melisa Melina Idris for shining a light on this. Hope this fosters a deeper understanding that women affected by current drug laws are a diverse group, each face unique challenges. Their experiences differ from those of men, therefore the need for gender-responsive systems.

Our understanding about “health behavior” has always been too narrow. We need to shift from creating health-literate individuals to building health-literate systems. In other words, we need to stop blaming individuals simply because it is easier to do so.

Not really surprised as we have always suspected that fentanyl has already reached our shores. What’s surprising is the lack of discussions on preparedness. How do we deal with this?
