No clue how Muay Thai isn't more popular in North America as it's everything most MMA fans want all the striking without the grappling. #ONE168

Gotta say, my favourite part of last night (other than Omiel winning 50gs) was Blair vs Stevens. Feel like it snuck under the radar a little bit, but what a fucking WAR that was #CW176

"Linkin Park sound like Paramore and Evanescence now" No,they don't. You've just been too ignorant to listen to other female fronted bands and still don't understand that female singers don't have to be compared to other female singers. Hope this helps. :)

Train hasn’t even moved yet and I’ve already had to have 2 “please don’t put your bags there, there’s a reason there’s an ‘essential for wheelchair access, do not put baggage here’ sign” conversations Sound, sound Totally making ALL the friends on THIS train 😂

Someone just tried to store their luggage BEHIND ME. My face obviously said “absolutely the fuck not” because then it became “is it ok if I put this here?” No. Nope no nope. Signage literally says no. There are many luggage locations + ONE spot for me. Put your stuff elsewhere.

In the saving grace to this whole shitty train ride. New Street actually met me on arrival WITH THE RAMP for once 🥳 And then I got home and collapsed in an actual heap which is why this update is so much after I got off the train 😂

When you touch someone’s mobility aid without consent you aren’t owed a “please”. You aren’t owed a soft and gentle request. You aren’t owed an explanation as to why you shouldn’t touch a working guide dog. You aren’t owed shit. Women asserting boundaries isn’t aggression.

why are you whispering? the idea that disabled people are secretly at fault for their condition is the mainstream opinion of ableist society.

Lifts aren't a "nice to have"... They are as critical a part of many people's journeys as the trains themselves. The reliability of lifts should be greater than the reliability of trains, yet across the country lift failures are commonplace. It's not good enough.

Officially my CrossCountry Trains train to Southampton after having to force my way through people standing in the aisles to get to my prebooked wheelchair space and then having to wrench UNCLAIMED luggage out of the wheelchair space in order to park

Me: Why am I exhausted and every joint hurts? Also me: *has done nearly 1000 miles of travel and nearly an entire circle of the country in the space of 7 days* Oh yeah that’ll be it 😂

The lack of access for disabled people is not an oversight, a lapse or an accident. It is a statement that disabled people are not welcome.
