Controversial take but I agree with the general sentiment. It’s what ends up in the hands of our users that ultimately matters. That’s said, artifacts can be valuable internally for alternative reasons but IMO designers should not make it the priority.

“Code feels like too much of a first-class citizen” is definitely how I’ve felt using it in the past. Part of the reason I love Claude Code so much.
