As part of the ISTER project (interreg-danube.eu/approved-proje…), the Geodetic Institute of Slovenia organised a workshop at the House of the European Union on the topic "Heritage of the Roman routes as a development potential".

The ISTER consortium met in Vienna and nearby Carnuntum-Petronell, where, participants had the opportunity to learn more about life in the former Roman settlement through the fascinating exhibitions of the Carnuntum Archaeological Park and the Carnuntinum Museum.

On 1st June 2022, Scientific Research Centre Bistra Ptuj (Slovenia) organised the third Capacity Building Workshop within the ISTER project. Participants from local authorities, public institutions, regional institutions, NGOs, and the general public participated in the workshop.

ISTER project at the “Csikasz” picnic Veszprem Municipality had a chance to introduce its ISTER project to the general public on the 23rd of July in the frame of the “Csikasz Picnic”, an outdoor festival of the Museum. The Museum's series of outdoor events continue in autumn.

ISTER project at the Tourism Fair in Bihać The Development Agency of the Una-Sana, representing the ISTER project, participated as a part of the Tourism Fair within the 19th International Ecology Fair EKOBIS 2022. EKOBIS 2022 took place from 8 to 11 September 2022 in Bihać.

The ISTER project is almost at its end, and the NMTI teams and its foreign partners are working hard. We are in the final stages – the milestones are being prepared, the QR codes and being generated, the approvals are on their way, and the VIA ISTER app is close to a final form.

The Geodetic Institute participated in the 14th International Summer School of Museology, which took place in Koper on September 8, 2022, at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska.
