Incredible that the main proponents of Brexit, who were warned that it would cause EXACTLY this, have the gall to claim to know what is needed. They have proved their ignorance, incompetence & ineptitude and for that, must forever be ignored.

Irony: People saying the BBC is biased towards the left when a big part of why they’ve all been radicalised to vote Tory and Reform is BECAUSE of (yes you guessed it) the BBC’s right wing bias. Couldn’t make it up. Thicker than a submarine door.

This deserves revisiting – Farage squirms as Rep. Jamie Raskin obliterates the "Putin-loving, free speech imposter, Trump sycophant." Please share as widely as possible. We need an antidote to media promotion and protection of Farage.

Across the world, the BBC is recognised as the best source of impartial news reporting. It's not perfect, because nothing made by people ever is. However, in these days of deliberate lies, manipulation & populism, it's a beacon of truth. Britain should be proud of it. And we are

I think the vast majority of us Brits want the BBC to thrive and be a beacon of balance and truth in reporting. It needs to be and do better, but these two tweets alone should be all the proof you need for why it must continue to exist.

The BBC is a HUGE asset to the UK. Yes, it would benefit from more viewpoint diversity (like every other cultural institution) but I utterly disagree with those who wish to destroy it. Remember the words of the great Joni Mitchell: “You Don't Know What You Got Till It's Gone”

This is why the hard right in Britain wants to destroy the BBC. It’s not because they want impartiality, they’ve benefitted from Tories at the top platforming them, they want free rein to plug the gaps of mistrust with conspiracy and disinfo so they can attain unchecked power.

See how Reform Council's work: The Reform Councillor in charge of care homes in Lancashire is shutting council care homes, forcing residents to move to private care homes. The very same Reform Councillor is also the owner of multiple local private care homes in Lancashire.

🚨It's 80 years since William Joyce aka Lord Haw-Haw was convicted of treason against Britain. Joyce belittled the UK, promoted a foreign leader and nation as being better than the UKs. Remind you of someone?

Who has forgotten about Nigel Farage and his £885,000 Clacton House?? Who paid? Where did the money come from did he pay tax? Was it from the EU fraud? Was it from Russia? Still unanswered 🤔 If he were a female labour MP the press would be all over him.

I gonna say right now what the BBC did with the Trump speech was terrible. I am so pissed off with them. The BBC has let itself and all the great people who work there down. But the BBC is absolutely miles ahead of any other news source. I guess that is what makes this annoying.

They said it was going to be £1.4m. It turns out it’s £30m. Every resident of Leicestershire should be preparing to kick out every Reform UK councillor at the next opportunity.

For the last 9 years, especially during the Cambridge Analytica/Vote Leave/Russian embassy era, I’ve had my documented criticism of the BBC’s political coverage. But I still support its mission and its many great journalists, some now finally speaking up against the obvious coup

Happy Independence Day, Poland! 🇵🇱 The restoration of the country’s independence, after 123 years of partitions by Russia, Austria and Prussia, was made possible by patriots who prioritised the national interest above all else.

🚨Our BBC is under attack 🚨 We can't let those that want to see it torn up & replaced by the likes of GBNews or Fox win. Sign the open letter now to demand the new BBC boss is someone that will protect the BBC, not let its enemies tear it down: act.38degrees.org.uk/act/bbc-dg-ol-…
