20 years ago today, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL) went live thanks to a SAMHSA grant! 💛 It marked a turning point in both how Americans perceived mental health crisis care and how they accessed it. In 2022, the NSPL became the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline we know today.

💡 Did You Know? In 2023, 11.7 million adults aged 18 or older received substance use treatment, and 59.2 million adults received mental health treatment.
