Yixuan Zhao will present a mixed work combining traditional instruments and electronic sounds. It is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of distortions with traditional instruments and how to better combine instruments and distortions. #TiMP #TiMP19

The System Eats Itself: Video to Sound∞ explores how image data from digital art can be translated into sound. This sonic output is routed back into the digital art system to manipulate the graphical form, which in turn affects the sonic output once again. @MatthewDFEvans #TiMP

Grand Union 166 by Dr Self is an installation comprising soundscapes and live performance informed by the 166 lock gates between Birmingham and London on the Grand Union Canal. A metaphorical dialogue between nature and industry via deconstructed voice and technology. #TiMP19

The performance investigates how technology can represent a NIME and how it can extend musical skills and artistic possibilities of musicians. The technology must represent the possibility of "sensitive" expression, allowing to amplify the musical sensory experience. #TiMP
