🦇🎣🦇 Happy to share our study on 🐟fish-eating 🦇#bats! Our findings reveal, for the first time, that Rickett's big-footed #myotis (Myotis pilosus) consumes marine fishes. It consumes more 🐠fish during the dry season, and more 🦋insects during the wet months.

White-nose syndrome has infected millions of bats in North America. Now, researchers have finally identified the source: large caves in western Ukraine, likely visited by explorers who unwittingly brought the spores back with them to the United States. scim.ag/3FxEbWt
