Higa simply didn’t win all of 2-5. Only one judge gave Vargas the second. Some strange discrepancies on these cards. The third card is miles off it.

Personally, I like how Steve Bunce phrased it a few years ago. RJJ had the most dominant spell of any boxer. For a few years, nobody could get anywhere near him. I agree with that sentiment. He isn’t number one on my all time list, but for that period he was incredible.
