Before the lockdowns, members of Classic Footwear and Step Carpenter Enterprises from Mudzi earned an average of USD 60 per individual from the manufacturing of leather and furniture products. ZRBF-BRACT has provided COVID-19 resuscitation packs to enable their recovery.

ZRBF-BRACT agro-business enterprise has supported traditional grains, farmers, with a mobile grain threshing machine that facilitates effective post-harvest handling. One of the farmers William Garufu from Mudzi is anticipating harvesting 8 tonnes of sorghum planted on 5 hectares

Asked if she can fully sustain herself once the program completes, Catherine Chida of ward 15 in Mudzi says only ill health can stop her from adapting to shocks.
