Finally! The Palo Alto voters had enough! Sounds unbelievable unless you saw it: For over a decade, the Palo Alto school board majority pushed anti math policies and promoted conspiracies that math achievement harms empathy and wellness.

Background: Our local school district, Palo Alto Unified, just walked back on its problematic, divisive, and disfactual, planned ES course. Strange situation at state level. Yes it was antisemitic but this was not even the main problem.

Harvard has betrayed both its mission and its students. Tax-exempt institutions receiving public funds have no business legitimizing bigotry. Perhaps it’s time for Harvard departments genuinely committed to advancing knowledge to divest from those who distort it to excuse hate.
