Excellent!!! A very important move in addressing the trend of “pretend education” that took over the CA K-12 schools. A trend that particularly harms students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Finally! The Palo Alto voters had enough! Sounds unbelievable unless you saw it: For over a decade, the Palo Alto school board majority pushed anti math policies and promoted conspiracies that math achievement harms empathy and wellness.

Background: Our local school district, Palo Alto Unified, just walked back on its problematic, divisive, and disfactual, planned ES course. Strange situation at state level. Yes it was antisemitic but this was not even the main problem.

It's possible for angry parents to unseat every council member and flip the tables in Palo Alto. There is no reason why the citizens of Palo Alto should tolerate nonstop virtue signal and watering down of their educations.

The "Ethnic Studies" debate in CA is tearing communities such as PAUSD apart. People agree on the need to teach inclusion and respect, but the actual curriculum got hijacked by extremists. See also the student newspaper editorial thecampanile.org/31376/showcase…

Very well said. Sometimes this minority is unfortunately the majority of faculty in a certain departments and the activism (very biased narratives) is in the content taught. This should not be happening in public universities funded by tax payer money. hoover.org/research/hamas…

We need to legalize math in California Today the anti-math education bureaucrats are trying to force the UC system to water down math standards to accept fake data science courses that don’t teach algebra We interviewed Jelani Nelson, CS division chair @ Berkeley to get the low down

Harvard has betrayed both its mission and its students. Tax-exempt institutions receiving public funds have no business legitimizing bigotry. Perhaps it’s time for Harvard departments genuinely committed to advancing knowledge to divest from those who distort it to excuse hate.

Great news for California students and for preserving the effectiveness of our public universities! Thank you Jelani for this important work and for being the voice of integrity and reason! This travesty would have continued without you.

My family lives in Iran. I have more stakes in this war than all of those Western keyboard warriors and keffiyeh Karens. I can wake up tomorrow and not have a mom. Still, that's not the reason I'm not okay. I know war is scary and it endangers everyone, but nothing is more
