The entire Recall disaster is mind blowing to me. Microsoft knows that it is under intense scrutiny for major security failures and decides the best course of action is to add built in software that can only be described as fully invasive spyware - and then enables it by default!

Just seen people mention CVE-2020-1350 ‘SigRed’ which was an exploit in windows server recursive DNS handling. I was part of the response team for that, one of the few times where we actually had time to put preemptive measures in place. 🧵

Ridiculously poor service from Hays Travel. Bought currency with buy back guarantee, back from trip and took remaining currency to revert. Wouldn’t honour the buy back as it was a “different” Hays Travel store. ~20% diff in rates without guarantee. Wasted trip; will avoid

Wonderful; now in Durham store, to find that the original Sunderland store processed the rejected transaction far enough that systems are showing my BBG as “processed”, meaning Durham now can’t….

Said it before I’ll say it again. If you can afford a holiday that’s fine. But for those of us who can’t, taking your kids to the beach for a paddle, or swim in a river is now a luxury we’ve had taken away. It may not sound like much to you but for us it was everything. So

I’m quite enjoying having a PM whose causing that little drama, sleaze and controversy that the best attack lines against him are he had the audacity to (trigger warning) redecorate the office. Absolutely shocking stuff, must be time for vote of no confidence

Meant to be chilling with new THE THE album, only been waiting quarter century Thanks to ever reliable (* reliably awful) EVRi Delivery Formerly HERMES Oh The FAILS; I’ve spent the morning filling refund requests instead. Don’t know where the “proof of delivery” is, but it ain’t my front door…
