It is inevitable that people who have not passed the exam have to resit. Otherwise, the credibility of the exam becomes destroyed. There can be no other solution. However, distress caused deserves compensation, and those responsible for quality assurance need to be accountable.

What a load of balderdash. Even when I was training 100yrs ago in the country of maharajas, snake charmers, and elephants, we had electric saws. #women are perfectly capable of being excellent #surgeons or anything else they wish to be. the problem is patriarchy & discrimination

I agree, in the guise of becoming high net worth specialists, and undermining GPs we have lost the tribe of General Physicians, Surgeons etc.. Paediatrics is where generalists are still valued. Geriatrics is going the way of becoming to comprehensive..we need a reset.
