Further good news. An 8 km long railway from Krueng Geukuh - Paloh - Lhokseumawe will be built with "normaalspoor" or standard gauge of 1435 mm or 4 ft 8.5 in. Nice to see other areas outside Java being developed.

Surabaya has a new urban transport and that's the feeder. It's launched as per 2 March 2023, and at the moment only 5 routes are served. The routes are mentioned in the linked thread. Fares are still free, but in 9-10 March 2023 it'll be IDR 5000. x.com/tfsurabaya/sta…

Bridge of the now disused narrow gauge sugarcane plantation railway of Kebonagoeng Sugar Mill in Malang Regency, East Java, that connected sugarcane estates of North of Malang, including in areas of Blimbing & Arjosari. The line was closed in the 1970s.
