They had more than 70,000 fans here a year ago & things still looked rather sparse -- even with numerous grandstands completely roped off. Just how this place works.

I get it. It's not shoulder-to-shoulder with 250,000 people anymore. It's not 12 rows of 3-wide for 160 laps. But there is something about seeing a race Indianapolis Motor Speedway in person. That place is special. You can feel it. If you ever get a chance, GO. You will not be disappointed.

Brickyard 400 is fun if you care more about more than wreckemup racin. The feeling that you get as the laps wind down knowing a driver is about to get a career changing win is rare these days (dont get it like this at Daytona anymore). Ok to have 1 race about skill/presteige.

Where did the original tweet go?? Kristy Labonte 70K people seems to be a lot of people for a modern day Nascar event. Heck Iowa this weekend only holds 30K

With another new winner, the #NASCARPlayoffs elimination line is beginning to feel a bit crowded. How is your favorite driver feeling with four races to go in the regular season?

Purposefully wrecking someone in a 150mph corner is just pure insanity. That’s not racing. It’s inexcusable. The driving standards, for some, are a joke right now. That means you Christian Rasmussen #indycar
