Congratulations to Ms. Susie Cunningham, Senior Lecturer of Computer Science, for receiving the Coca-Cola scholars Foundation Educator of Distinction Award! Ms. Cunningham was nominated by Asia Genawi, class of 2025.

Dr. Joshua Myers, Assistant Teaching Professor of English, recently published his short story "Self Taught" in the literary magazine Ink of Thirds. This accomplishment is a testament to the Indiana Academy's success in academic excellence.

The National Honors Society officers participated in a "Dress Like Mrs. Chris Buczek" Day to celebrate the accomplishment of raising over $4,300 for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Congratulations to Indiana Academy senior Aili Gutwein for being accepted into the 2025 International Korean Education Youth Camp. Aili will be one out of 5 students in the United States to attend this camp.

Mrs. Chris Buczek, Assistant Lecturer of Chemistry, led an AP Chemistry Professional Learning Community at the AP Best Practices Conference on October 20. Mrs. Buczek was invited by the College Board to lead this session.

Dr. Donald Winslow was recently published in the journal Ornithology with the article "Genetic analysis of Cistothorus palustris (Marsh Wren) across a broad transition zone in southern Saskatchewan reveals deep divergence and little hybridization between two cultural phenotypes."
