Amb Ajit Gupte received award for Indian film 'Salaam Venky' on 29th Sept 2023 during the closing ceremony of Awladna Film Festival (for Gifted Children) in Cairo. Another Indian film 'Giddh- the Scavenger' also received Certificate of Appreciation.
