1/2 I'm thinking of running a free monthly EAL network meeting via ZOOM, suitable for EAL Coordinators or those working with EAL learners. Likely to involve a mini training session by me, input from others, sharing great practice or issues faced. Who would be interested?

How is this not pulled up as being a narrowed curriculum? Genuine question. This does not appear broad and balanced or enable students to follow what they are interested in, or enjoy?

Agree. One day for one year with 6 months notice. Schools should not be putting this much emphasis on these tests, no wonder kids are stressed. 🙄
