Our team is building better state-of-the-art maser devices to for use as ultra-noise amplifiers and quantum sensors. In this picture, there are researchers tackling materials development, resonator design and methods of eliminating noise.

Our MASER work made it into STFC’s latest advisory paper!

Our Maser group from Imperial Materials has demonstrated the Pentacene Maser at the Quantum Day celebration event , in collaboration with London Centre for Nanotechnology at Imperial College London , representing the Spin-Lab bench. Our researchers talked to the public and we had an amazing time.

We had a great time talking about how atomic-scale control over materials can be used to create new technologies including room-temperature masers and antimicrobial surfaces at #ExRdFest. Looking forward to more conversations tomorrow! NAME Programme Grant Imperial Materials
