IMPACT Justice held a second committee meeting to discuss the IMPACT Justice Draft Model Insolvency Bill on February 20-22, 2020.

On October 17-18, 2019, IMPACT Justice partnered with the Ministry of Justice in Jamaica and the Regional Law Revision Centre Inc. to deliver consolidation of laws training to persons within the Legal Reform Unit of the Ministry of Justice and the Parliament Office.

IMPACT Justice launched the Grenada Restorative Practices Network at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort on March 6, 2020.

The digitization of Montserrat’s current and historical Land Registry Records got underway on February 1. During a 4-day visit by the Project Director of IMPACT Justice, 3 students received training in the use of scanning equipment and document preparation for database creation.

IMPACT Justice will fund the revision of the Laws of Guyana from 2011 to 2021 by the Regional Law Revision Centre, Anguilla. The Government of Guyana will fund the revision of Subsidiary Legislation once the Acts are completed.

IMPACT Justice is preparing to provide eleven Belize Magistrates’ Courts with key legal materials. These will include texts on Evidence; Statutory Interpretation, Domestic Violence and Criminal and Civil Procedure.
