Could not have thought of a better way to commemorate Pip on her comaversary than co-hosting a podcast with china mills (she/her). It was the most healing and supportive space and working with China is always a true joy

I’d love to say something eloquent and inspiring but really this has just filled me with rage. If a disabled person misses their assessments they are disqualified and/or sanctioned. Where is this unmoving, callous and rigid attitude for their own governance?

I’m so proud of and grateful for John. He’s dedicated years of his life fighting again benefit deaths. He’s attended inquests, held grieving families hands and been a thorn in the DWPs side. Pips got a chapter in this book and I know she’d love him just as much as I do.

Had the most amazing time co-hosting a podcast with china mills (she/her) for Healing Justice Ldn and it’s OUT!! The love and mutual adoration we all have for each other shines through; reminding us how vital solidarity is against state violence. open.spotify.com/episode/4lenTf…

Nobody should be ‘written off’ and told they can’t succeed. With the right support and adjustments, disabled people can thrive at work. It’s time to unleash that potential. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

There is a worrying naivety to “there will be safeguards” advocates of assisted dying. I struggle to believe anyone who thinks sick and poor people can fully trust health or care institutions with questions of life, dignity and autonomy has ever actually engaged with one.

This doesn’t mean assisted dying should not be legalised. But it does mean that advocates should be really honest, as well as respectfully listen to the disabled community’s concerns. These laws *do* come with an element of risk and that risk falls on certain - other - people.
