Among the mourners laying flowers at the scene today was one of Bryonie’s best friends, Abi. Paying tribute to Bryonie, she said: “She was my best friend. She was just bubbly, she was an amazing best friend. She was there for everyone. I’m heartbroken.”Manchester News MEN
Reverend Chris Enwerem, has just laid flowers. In a message to those grieving, he said: “It’s a lovely community, we love one another and there’s a lot of places where they can find comfort in this time. We are all united in this grief.” Manchester News MEN
Local children have left moving chalk messages next to the floral tributes. One reads: “Hope you have fun in heaven”, while another adds: “RIP little ones”. Manchester News MEN
Shocked residents are also among those leaving tributes at the scene. One woman, aged 33 from Clayton, told the M.E.N: “It’s just horrific, really sad. I’m just heartbroken for the family.” Manchester News MEN

Cllr Luke Majkowski has just left flowers. He said: “We’re very devastated. It's a shock more than anything. We’ve got to make sure that resources are available to help other children that may be affected by this, the family and the wider community.”Manchester News MEN
