Nothing will make someone like you more than showing genuine interest in listening to them talk about their niche interests/hobbies.

There will always be people who are objectively more attractive than you but that doesn’t mean you yourself cannot become more attractive over time.

Better to put some effort in and look like a 6 than completely let yourself go and look like a 3.

Best way to fall in love with your own city is by walking through it and pretending you’re a tourist.

You start to notice and find beauty in things you usually took for granted.

Life gets significantly easier when you stop being afraid of looking like an idiot and start asking more questions.

It’s sad watching people hide their interests behind the guise of a ‘guilty pleasure’ because they’re afraid of being judged.

Life is far too short to be embarrassed by things that bring you joy.

General rule for when someone is experiencing emotional distress:

Male = wants a solution.

Female = wants validation.

I’ve noticed a large number of young men don’t read for pleasure.

It’s like they’ve been brainwashed into thinking that reading is a feminine trait.

It’s either self-improvement, philosophy or autobiographies and that’s pretty much it.

You’re allowed to enjoy a book about

Men are most at peace when they’re busy studying maps.
