A nymphic choir in the lilac of July's twilight— katydids, their silver trills ripple like an aeolian harp in the peridot of summer reeds. Skeins of chirpy sweeps, soft hums—haunts of a lullaby. Its echoes— endless oracles, bluesy sighs of ancient aches, an eternal refrain.
