Proud to say I was a involved with this great tradition in the 80's...when we actually hid from the cops, stealthily borrowed pumpkins and proudly used our barn to store them.🤷🏻‍♀️

Me and one of my childhood friends did this. And I made it to the bottom of the hill unscathed. My friend ended up loosing some skin on his hands.

The Pumpkin Roll strikes again. My daughter’s pumpkin is somewhere in there.

This started as a prank and each year they kept doing it and the pumpkins would roll into town square and they said enough of it and made a tradition like no other in America. ❤️❤️ Chagrin Falls Ohio.. p.s. look at the rock wall going up the hill!!

I participated in 84 and 85 while in HS. It's a shame that it is all preplanned now. Still a bunch of fun and a right of passage.
