I have tried everything to get Nottinghamshire County Council ICDS to just do their basic legal duty to my child. I've made formal complaints which have been acknowledged and recognised and yet they still don't improve. Aside from OFSTED who can I get involved/raise a concern to?

I am not the police nor am I a lawyer and yet I know a crime took place here. I've always know the police protect institutions not people but this is just rubbing it in our faces.

My brother was glassed in a bar in Rotherham a couple of weeks ago. He had hospital treatment there is cctv available from the venue. South Yorkshire Police have done nothing since he reported it. Not even taken a statement. As a young black man it's another reminder he's not protected.
