A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect for portions of Central and South Mississippi and Northeast Louisiana. Confidence is increasing in that snowfall accumulations on Tuesday will result in dangerous travel conditions, especially in these areas.

Due to very cold conditions, travel impacts from snow accumulations will persist at least into Wednesday.

Coldest weather of the season into the area as we go into next week.Snow accumulations are likely on Tuesday with the highest accumulation south of Interstate 20.Dangerously cold temperatures Sunday night through Wednesday night could send wind chills under 10 degrees.
