It’s official, folks! Our new unit at WWL is officially certified by the NLRB as ILWU Local 23! We won the vote last Thursday 104-56, no objections were filed by the employer, and now we’re on toward a first contract!

Today, March 21, 2024, workers at the Wallenius Wilhelmsen auto processing facility in Tacoma, WA successfully defended their right to organize and voted 104-56 to join ILWU Local 23.
