Having been enjoying the April sunshine working in my garden this #Easter weekend, I’m missing my usual company of my #robins, anyone else not seeing the usual friendly red breasted friends? #ilkley

Just spotted this little fella on my back garden bird bath here in #ilkley I know it’s a #raptor but unsure exactly which raptor it may be. I do know. It’s not a Red Kite, we have dozens of these overhead most days. BBC Springwatch Chris Packham Ilkley Tales

Why are they not wearing masks to protect those house bound they terrify by visiting unannounced and probably unwelcome? 🤬🤯

Here’s a tester. Royal Mail are telling our members that you as the public want your mail up to 3 hours later each day. They say that’s the ‘customer trends’ RT this if you don’t want your mail later and you don’t want your posties start time changed.

Just over a month ago, my neighbours and I found 4 orphaned hoglets, last night two were returned from the Hedgehog Hospital over in Otley. So much healthier now, their sister hoglets will hopefully be rejoining them soon. #hedgehogs #Ilkley Hedgehog of the Day

Finally, a Speckled Wood Butterfly sat still long enough for me to grab a photo, on my phone, in my back garden. #ilkley #BenRhydding @ukbutterflies Butterfly Conservation 🦋

The sparrows are back in the back garden here in #Ilkley this afternoon. Really hot and sunny, so there was a rather scruffy individual having a bath!

No photos I'm afraid as I was working in the garden here in #Ilkley and there were 2 or 3 tiny tits feeding on the bugs covering the Damson tree. Not colourful enough to be blue tits, seemed smaller too, possibly Marsh or Willow Tits?

Really enjoying the current series of BBC Garden Rescue and so glad that Charlie Dimmock is still involved. She can come any time. Flo, Lee and Chris are really good too. Great to see woodworker Leigh and his creations. 👍
