7 Nov. Gosford Bay. Good views of male White-winged Scoter in mid distance. A bird with very obvious brown flanks, to an extent never seen on the Musselburgh bird. Good to compare with the v different Stejneger's seen on Monday. Also 3 male Surf Scoters KGbirder Birding Lothian

Here in Lothian c. 16k Pink-footed Geese, 3150 Greylags, 250 Barnacles & 235 Canadas logged in Oct count, but data from feeding flocks in West Lothian suggests some Pinkfeet are still evading our roost counts - info on any species of goose would be most welcome over coming days!

23 Nov. Musselburgh. Grey Phalarope at the Esk mouth (distant photos!), 2 Little Auks, and returning white Black-headed Gull Birding Lothian KGbirder
