National National Heritage Week is happening across Ireland, from Saturday, 17 August to Sunday, 25 August & the theme is “Connections, Routes and Networks”. Geological Survey IE Dept. Environment, Climate and Communications has a timetable of geological-related events happening & can be viewed at gsi.ie
The Tellus Programme in Geological Survey IE, Dept. Environment, Climate and Communications recently collected its final #soil sample as part of the 13-year #geochemical survey. The final sample was taken at Mizen Head, County Cork, the most #southernly point of Ireland by Oonagh Buckley, Secretary General.
