Last week we received two students from the @IGCiencia Summer School: Gligorije Gligoric and Sara Calmão-Silva. It started with a field trip to collect samples in the sea, followed by a few busy days in the facility learning #flowcytometry and looking at different sample types.

BREAKING NEWS The 2023 #NobelPrize in Physiology or Medicine has been awarded to Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman for their discoveries concerning nucleoside base modifications that enabled the development of effective mRNA vaccines against COVID-19.

In research, it is hard is to see many awesome people, with whom our days get so much more interesting and fun, leaving. Last Friday was the last day of one of our dearest flow cytometry users and enthusiasts Maria Pires. We will miss you! All the best for the next steps!
