Last Friday, FarmPEAT & @BordnaMona hosted the @IGC2024Dub at Umeras Bog. Our project farmer Aiden Byrne and his son Mark shared their love for farming & experience with peat soils. They hope that farming families can continue to make a living from the land while helping nature.

One of the groups who participated in the Social and Solidarity Economy SAP during RUN – European University student week used one of the koalas distributed at @IGC2024Dub to promote the next International Geographical Congress in #Melbourne, #Australia in 2028. #rural Geographical Society of Ireland


At the @IGC2024Dub pre-conference in Galway I got to meet Marta Derek from University of Warsaw and find out about all the brilliant urban parks research she's been working on, including this new paper on nature in urban green spaces #ecosystemservices sciencedirect.com/science/articl… .
