#TrashploitationTuesday Psycho Sex Dolls (2025) AI sex dolls go on a gonzo-induced rampage in director David Wilde's exploitation examination of creative block set against a backdrop of titillating T&A, drugs, madness and enough expletives to make even a Scotsman blush.

Keeping #TrashploitationTuesday going here at IFWT, we want to know what your 3 FAVOURITE FILMS considered 'trash' are? Whatever genre. Whatever budget. The only criteria is that they have a trashy, sleazy and no-good reputation!

#humpdayhorror A passion projected from one of modern cinemas most talented directors, Nosferatu is steeped in atmosphere and bathed in gothic horror, with a Count Olrok that pays tribute to Schrecks original without outright copying it, and some truly gorgeous cinematography.

Remember to check out our latest ep on Paul Bartel's stunning satire, Death Race 2000. An IFWT episode that coins a nazi roller derby team name, juggles if state sanctioned murder is effective, and the unlikely stardom of Sly Stallone. Yeah, it's pretty eclectic😆🤘

#NowWatching Too wet to work today. So time to brew a mug of coffee, and start ep1 of Northern Exposure since it's now on Prime(UK) - this show is never on UK TV!

With the movie The Golden State Killer being sold at Cannes, it's interesting to note that previously listed Jordan Gertnet's writing/directing credit has been removed, and replaced with Vito Brown - many speculating a pseudonym for Gallo, thus, a new Gallo directed movie.

Me and my dipshit friends loved Dude, Where's My Car? as very young teens. We'd prank call public phone boxes and quote lines to random, confused, receivers on the other end. I also made a pencil holder in woodwork class emblazoned with 'Shibby'. It was fun being a dipshit.

#NowWatching Fear Street: Prom Queen (dir. Matt Palmer, 2025) The preceding films were enjoyable enough, with a genuine sense of genre-literacy, though lacked originality and felt too generic & 'Netflixy' But I'm more than okay with this just being fun 90min slash fest.

Genre-literacy is useless if nothing original is added or subverted. Prom Queen ends up being a dull patchwork of superior films from the slasher golden age. Ends up feeling less like a nod to 80s teen slashers, and more like a feature length episode of Riverdale at its worst

#NowWatching The Sky Is Falling a.ka. Bloodbath (dir. Silvio Narizanno, 1975) Dennis Hopper and Carroll Baker in a post-hippie, decadent and depraved exploitation film by the director of the masterpiece Georgy Girl, set in Spain? Oh, I'm ready!

Happy Birthday to Stacy Keach who's portrayal of Pat Quid in Richard Franklin's Hitchcockian Roadgames is an absolute tour de force - charming, lyrical & intelligent. There's no wonder the films director would become known as Australia's Hitchcock and go on to direct psycho 2

#trashploitationtuesday One of the countless Jurassic Park ‘homages’, Blood Monkey contains bad CGI, wooden dialogue, nonsensical story beats and, most bizarrely, a passionate performance from Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, who loved doing his own stunts.

Surf music, spaghetti western scores and black metal are basically all the same, just using different effects pedals and tempos.
