It’s been exactly a year since I joined Nottinghamshire Healthcare as CEO. Working in our NHS doing our best to improve people’s lives is a real privilege & one when it’s tough we must remember. I’ve loved meeting colleagues & seeing how hard they try to improve people’s lives everyday👏

Well how times are changing - our youngest grandson wanted something from THE CHRISTMAS CUPBOARD - 2 weeks before Christmas 😱😱😱 and Granny said yes - fair to say all 4 of our Children have lodged formal protests - double standards where grandchildren are concerned 🤣🤣❤️❤️

Meet Gulliver who we picked up today - not a Christmas dog just happened to be ready today - he’s an Irish Dane and while he looks like butter wouldn’t melt, as we and the rest of the pack discovered tonight he’s a bit of a live wire😀😀😀🤣🤣

I have to admit to feeling a little overwhelmed with gratitude - today I went into one of our wards at Rampton Hospital Nottinghamshire Healthcare & a patient gave me this cross stitch he made for me - how incredibly kind and humbling (regardless of your view of the club😀) & what skill 👏
