The heart of the 2030 Agenda is clear: we must leave no one behind. 🌾This includes the 3.4 billion people living in rural areas, who are the backbone of our food systems. IFAD calls for more targeted investments & increased concessional resources to support rural communities.

.International Fund for Agricultural Development serves rural people in remote places. This village in #LaoPDR's Oudomxai province is learning how to grow & eat healthy food at a farmer nutrition school. Families like Amiya's are growing #cardamom, because of its relatively high price & suitability for the soil.
