Don’t just catch a fish and call it a day. Hustle. Grind. Out-fish every fisherman. Switch lakes. Fish on land. Fish in space(?). Disrupt the fishing industry. Become a fish.

The insanely f’ing hard problem with bad mev is that even if it’s a tiny fraction of total volume, like 10 basis points, at scale it’s an astronomical amount of value for a small minority to capture. That means the solutions space either has to eradicate it or democratize it.

People complaining about the pump.fun Cantina 🪐 audit. What were you expecting? They already had half a dozen professional audits by some of the best devs in the space. Months of revisions done. Of course they weren't gonna pay anything out🤦‍♂️

hiring people for trading roles is lowkey hard because there's a lot of smart people who are risk averse so they're ngmi, a lot of dumbasses who are risk seekers but they easily blow up, and those who are smart risk takers are already rich on their own

"Anchor is insanely bloated, I can do this in 330 CU with some assembly" Takes a full day to get to work, no one can audit it. Saved 0.0006$/day in tx costs 👍

Todays episode of "fun with Python". My loop is suspicously slow, mean time is ~20x longer than line-profiler suggests. What could it be? Yeah... garbage collection. 250ms mean -> 15ms mean with GC off 🤦‍♂️

High frequency trading is cool because when someone asks you what your edge is you can say things like "my fiber network has minimal undersea cable curvature"

Building your own TCP/IP stack with kernel bypass to save a microsecond is great, but "how hard can I spam this API and get away with it" is literally 100,000x faster

How do you value a pump.fun token without a clear view of the on-chain data and history? Are there any data providers that could just dump you a .parquet (each created mint, each trade, user, etc)🤔

Wait, theres no way to catch a CPI failure on Solana and continue? Am I missing something... Anchor expects `Result<T, ProgramError>` but you never get to use it?

Why don't I just find the midpoint to the Solana validators, that should be fast on average. The epoch gravity-center:
