A lot of us are a downsizing away, an injury away, a long COVID case away from getting evicted and thrown into the overlapping climate/drug poisoning/housing affordability crisis. We need to protect us. Because lots of us are in deadly danger, and any of us could be next.

Inspiring. It's happening all over. With 3000 strikes in 3 years, in multiple industries, & many sites that hadnt been organized b4- this is the most far-reaching, strike wave in the US since the 70s. Its gonna keep growing. Best thing bosses can do is give in quick.

Tenants have been living with unsustainable rents for years and no one is offering them any help at all. It's gross how there is so much support for homeowners, who have equity, while there is nothing for tenants, who have none. Canada does not need another landlord party.

Stuff like this is interesting bc it’s a window into just how credulous mainstream pundits are. Sure, it’d be nice if everyone held hands and worked together, but enabling corruption is literally the central tenet of republican policymaking! It’s their main legislative goal!
