📍 Aleppo The ICRC, with Syrian Red Crescent & Aleppo's Water Board, has completed maintenance on the main generator at Bab al-Nayrab pumping station. This will ensure continuous pumping and improve access to clean water for 500,000 people in Aleppo’s Old City and eastern areas.

The ICRC & Syrian Red Crescent, with the #Raqqa Water Board, have completed phase 1 of vital repairs at the Raqqa main water station, benefiting 600,000 people. Phase 2 started in March 2025, and aims to increase water supply by 25%, ensuring reliable access for 50,000 residents.

Hamda, a mother living in Al Zohour neighborhood in Hassakeh, turned her passion for tailoring into a thriving business with support from ICRC & Syrian Red Crescent. Despite challenges, her beautiful traditional dresses empower her to build a better future for her family.

ICRC Syrian Red Crescent Al-Hol hospital in Hassakeh, children find a safe space to have fun & express emotions! Through group activities, games & tailored support, they regain a sense of normalcy. Over 2,700 women & children received mental health care at the hospital in 2024.

📍 Aleppo 🚨 3.2 million people get water from Babiri Pumping Station, which also irrigates 65,000 hectares of land in Aleppo. The ICRC, Syrian Red Crescent & local authorities urgently repaired a key transformer in this station to keep this vital system running.

Establishing a mechanism for the missing persons is the first step towards providing families in #Syria with the answers they have long been waiting for. For families of the missing, time does not heal; answers do.

📍 Raqqa Mohammad AlJasem, 29, overcame all hardships, turning his dreams into reality! With an ICRC @SyRedCrescent grant, he opened his shop, “Love Story”, filled with perfumes & beauty products. A married man now & with his shop & life flourishing, we say - Onwards Mohammad!

12-year-old Youssef from Hassakeh was injured playing with an unknown object—a war remnant that damaged his hand and shoulder. #Syria remains one of the world’s most contaminated countries. Children like Youssef face daily dangers from mines and unexploded ordnance.

Mohammad, father of 5, turned pain into hope. He lost his legs during the conflict, but not his determination to live. With a push from ICRC & Syrian Red Crescent, he opened an electrical shop. His children stood by him through recovery, supporting him every step of the way.

Patients, medical and humanitarian workers, along with medical vehicles and facilities, are protected by law and must be respected.
