ICONET is a 30 month project launched on September 1st 2018 which will significantly extend the state of the art research and development around the Physical Internet (PI) concept in pursuit of a new networked architecture for interconnected logistics hubs

The ICONET Advisory Board met for the first time in Brussels yesterday, where the project progress, scope & development of the platform architecture & 4 living labs were presented & discussed. Thanks to P&G for hosting & to the AB for sharing their experience & insights.

The ICONET project is over halfway through & the mid-term review was conducted online on 19th March. The technical teams & Living Labs presented their progress to the Project Officer & external reviewer. The team are looking forward to incorporating the suggestions made.

ICONET has completed a report on "Blockchain Transactional Ledgers & Smart Contracts as PI Enablers”. Its purpose was to investigate an automated dispute resolution mechanism that arises from blockchain-enabled PI SLA contracts. Read the full report here iconetproject.eu/wp-content/upl…
