P2/1 have had a great first week back and it’s so nice to see the boys and girls settling in so well 🤗We have been busy making friends, discussing feelings, problem solving during construction work and we loved exploring numbers 🤗☺️💙💛

P2/1 had a busy Monday morning. We did some Maths in Art 🐠We also discussed the number of members in our family who we live with 🥰and we even came up with some rules for the classroom. I love the last one ‘do not pull the spots off the carpet” 🥰😀#Numeracyfun #Literacy #HWB

After our creation of the class charter yesterday we printed our handprints to keep our promise and to remind us of our classroom rules. The children have been working hard to remember these rules we came up with together. #ChildrenCharter #HealthandWellbeing ☺️💛

We had a good old laugh making ‘silly Soup’ today Some of us had flies, feet and cats in our Pot. We practiced the sounds we heard and then popped in the ingredients. Also, P2/1 did great with their ‘Shape’ target today looking, creating and talking about shapes ☺️😀

A reminder of the group starting this Thursday run by GovanHELP and DIFFERabled Scotland a great chance to chat and access support. The Pearce Institute is just a 20 min walk from school or jump on the subway from Ibrox to Govan Ibrox nursery class Ibrox Primary School & NC 🦡

P2/1 loved creating a big clock after learning ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’ we loved exploring the numbers around the clock and working together to paint it. We then took our learning outside and made some models using loose parts 🐭🕰️😀
