Dream weddings are simply not realistic for many Nigerian couples. People end up picking elements in the weddings they really want to go a certain way and focus on them. We are too socialized to please and accommodate family to suddenly want to change that during weddings.

We celebrated 18 months of marriage yesterday and also moved into a new apartment against many odds. In stressful seasons like this, I’m even more grateful for the good man I married. So far, I can say that one important thing in marriage is partnership & I’m grateful for mine🧡

😂😂 I usually wear glasses but for my wedding I didn’t and I didn’t have time to get contact lens prescriptions. I definitely couldn’t see half of my guests and had to follow my husband everywhere. If I were to redo it, I would still not wear glasses sha 🙈
