Thirty brilliant people at our first network meeting at IAPS 2024 Conference in Barcelona! Wow! It is fantastic to see and hear so much enthusiasm for qualitative research in people-environment studies 👏🥳

A fantastic endorsement of qualitative and co-produced research by Topaz Shrestha in today’s Restoration Network symposium IAPS 2024 Conference

Everly Jazi’s qualitative study explored nature experiences of marginalised groups. A great overlap between iapsREN and IAPS Qualitative Research Network ✌🏻

This is genuinely exciting! My incredible PhD student Dr Lois Player developed a machine learning method for analysing large open-ended datasets, which could transform how we do qualitative analysis! It's 378 times faster than humans!

It’s fantastic to see more qualitative research in Journal of Environmental Psychology, especially focusing on women and the Global South. Check out Uchita Vaid’s paper which takes a grounded theory approach to women’s experiences of in-situ housing redevelopment in India: doi.org/10.1016/j.jenv…

The community asked, and Journal of Environmental Psychology delivered! This new editorial confirms that the journal is now open to pure qualitative research once more. This is a great decision for inclusive, novel, and interdisciplinary research in environmental psychology. doi.org/10.1016/j.jenv…

Extremely gratified that Journal of Environmental Psychology have reversed their decision on qualitative research and will be accepting purely qualitative submissions once again! This is a huge win for the field, and great to see that the editors were so open to feedback from the community IAPS Qualitative Research Network
