I just read “Son of a Critch” by Mark Critch . I was expecting a chuckle, but I got more than that. A great book by a wonderful Canadian! I’d recommend it to anyone that wants a good read!

Halifax had fireworks tonight and there were the usual online comments, fireworks are bad for the environment, scare animals, etc. Yet the Air Show is also running this weekend and no one says a word. Louder and more pollution than fireworks. People are fickle.

So, my flight out of Halifax was delayed takeoff by over an hour, and the reason we were told was because they were waiting for 2 late connecting passengers. This delay caused me to miss my connection. I was late for my connection by 5 minutes.

I like electric cars. They go fast, not much to break, quiet, a lot of storage. But this power outage in Nova Scotia is showing me a serious problem with buying one…

I got my Spotify Wrapped today. I went through the songs to find ones I used to listen to that fell off my rotation. I’m slightly annoyed to learn Spotify has removed “At a Medium Pace” by Adam Sandler.

I see Seinfeld is coming to Halifax. I’ve seen a lot of comics, and he stands with the best of them. What amazes me is the response on social media. So many are happy and excited! Then we have the people who don’t like him, feel the need to say it.

The Halifax Thunderbirds games are always great, but tonight was another level! Awesome game!!!

I’m noticing that for the last year Nova Scotia doesn’t do weather in moderation…

Tonight I went to the first drone show in Halifax. I had high hopes, but sadly I can now say with certainty that drone shows are not a replacement for fireworks.

I was just reading by-laws for the county of Colchester NS, where I live. It’s funny the things you’ll find. You are not allowed to put those novelty candles that you can’t blow out on a birthday cake in Bible Hill, except on Canada Day and NYE.
