True, I am disappointed by the continuing criticism. But the bigger picture is the harm these attack marketing strategies - often carried out by companies coming into the charity sector from the commercial sector - potentially have on all fundraising.

FYI Marina Jones. I'm a bit surprised London Zoo had dormice. Thirty bob was a lot of money in 1939. That's about ÂŁ60 today. Perhaps that was annual penguin sponsorship.
