The first tune Fault was fun to throw down, we recorded the record in two batches, basics (bass and drums) were done in two days for the first 6, Bobby and Sam killed it. I was kinda goin for a Mascis meets Marr meets Mats thing with the guitar line, capo on 3

Pretty sure I used my Creston Guitars guitar into a conspiracy theory or Bowman klon and my deville loaded with a Weber Speakers Apex and Bluedog

Track 5! Spiraling, the one that ties the room together. This was one of the very first tunes written for this record. It’s a special one for me because it was a brand new jam worked out with Bobby D. and Sam in the band.

Pretty sure I used a reissue fender jazz master for the rhythm tracks (that I eventually sold to a guitar student) Ben used his starcaster, maybe a strat too both through different fender amps, a deluxe and possibly a champ..

Recording this song and spending that afternoon with one of my musical hero’s is something I’ll never forget. It seems to really strike a chord with a lot of my fellow musician friends and is mainly about my ever present desire to just “be better”
