Gabriel’s got that #BackToSchool feeling.

This Sunday is Education Sunday and we welcome Ian Loynd, headteacher of St. Teilo's and a member of the Cathedral Chapter, as our preacher at the Cathedral Eucharist at 10.30am. We will also admit our new Director of Music, Tom Coxhead, on his first Sunday.

Children who are loved at home come to school to learn, those who are not come to school to be loved, but ask for that in sometimes challenging ways. That insight, from the wonderful Ian Loynd resonated today in Newport, as it does in any place I visit.

Such a joy to welcome the Revd Canon Martyn Davies and guests from Uppsala - Niels and Valter - to talk all things mission, service and young people.
