Had a great few days in Iaşi last week, working with our local @Bandwidth team on plans for the future including an expanded office in the heart of the city. Also managed to find time for a VR workout/team building game 😄

Guardrails and paved roads are cool, we should do more of those 😁 This is one of the impedance mismatches I saw in the Cloud Foundry days: we were building a really nice cloud abstraction layer, but it took a long time for new primitives like FaaS to be available.

From entrance to duty free in 5 minutes this morning at Dublin Airport. Still find it so surprising to see Duty Free prices advertised for UK destinations.

There is a *lot* of lightning activity in Dublin right now. Each cross-hair on this plot from Met Éireann is a recent lightning strike.

Being laid off is extremely emotional & stressful for the individual, so people planning and delivering the news need to think about how to do it in humanely. Ppl have long memories, leaders of diff companies will be remembered for good/bad actions this week for years to come.
