The Orthopaedic team led by Professor Deiary Kader (Medical Doctor) & including local specialists Drs Berzenji, Shwan, Ziyad & Yad were in theatre for almost 9 hours back to back, completing 8 procedures yesterday 🙌🏽 Thank you to them for volunteering their time and expertise 💯💯💯 #OrthoTeam #Erbil

Last week we completed the first free flap surgery on a 10 year old boy- tissue flap, including blood vessels and muscle tissue was removed from his torso to help rebuild his leg after he lost part of it in a missile attack. 1/2
